No solo es esencial para la vida y la salud de las personas, sino que tiene un fuerte impacto en el <a href=\"http:\/\/welysisindustries.com\/es\/blog\/cuales-son-las-consecuencias-economicas-de-la-falta-de-agua-potable\">desarrollo social y econ\u00f3mico<\/a> de las comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tradicionalmente, se han utilizado diversos m\u00e9todos qu\u00edmicos y f\u00edsicos para eliminar elementos contaminantes y microorganismos del agua. Sin embargo, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la electr\u00f3lisis se est\u00e1 posicionando como <a href=\"http:\/\/welysisindustries.com\/es\/blog\/tratamiento-agua-con-hipoclorito-sodio\">la alternativa m\u00e1s eficiente, econ\u00f3mica e incluso sostenible en ciertos aspectos<\/a> para obtener subproductos que se utilizan en la desinfecci\u00f3n y potabilizaci\u00f3n del agua para consumo humano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se aplica la <strong>electr\u00f3lisis a la purificaci\u00f3n del agua<\/strong>? La electrolisis de la salmuera es un proceso electroqu\u00edmico, es decir, a trav\u00e9s de la descomposici\u00f3n electroqu\u00edmica de una soluci\u00f3n de cloruro de sodio (NaCl) y agua se obtiene cloro (Cl<sub>2<\/sub>), hidr\u00f3geno (H<sub>2<\/sub>) e hidr\u00f3xido de sodio (NaOH). Posteriormente, el cloro es absorbido con la soda c\u00e1ustica, reaccionando, y uno de los productos resultantes de este proceso es el <a href=\"http:\/\/welysisindustries.com\/es\/plantas-electrolisis\/hipoclorito-de-sodio\">hipoclorito de sodio<\/a>, que se utiliza para potabilizar el agua para consumo humano, entre otros usos, gracias a su poder fungicida y bactericida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ventajas de la electr\u00f3lisis aplicada a la potabilizaci\u00f3n del agua<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La principal ventaja de este sistema es que <strong>se puede generar de forma local<\/strong>. Uno de los principales inconvenientes de los productos qu\u00edmicos es su transporte y manipulaci\u00f3n. Aunque el hipoclorito de sodio tambi\u00e9n se considera un producto qu\u00edmico nocivo, la ventaja es que gracias a las plantas de electr\u00f3lisis modulares se puede generar localmente, lo que permite el suministro a \u00e1reas rurales o poblaciones de dif\u00edcil acceso para el transporte, y se acortan los desplazamientos y la huella de carbono asociada estos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas <a href=\"http:\/\/welysisindustries.com\/es\/plantas-electrolisis\">plantas de electr\u00f3lisis<\/a> pueden <strong>adaptar su capacidad<\/strong> seg\u00fan las necesidades de producci\u00f3n actuales y previstas, desde 2-4 toneladas de cloro al d\u00eda hasta 10-20 toneladas al d\u00eda, en funci\u00f3n de si hablamos de producci\u00f3n de cloro para potabilizar agua para peque\u00f1as comunidades rurales, por ejemplo, o si se requiere m\u00e1s cantidad para \u00e1reas urbanas y\/o industriales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra ventaja de la producci\u00f3n de cloro mediante electr\u00f3lisis es que el proceso puede ser alimentado con <strong>electricidad proveniente de fuentes renovables<\/strong>, como la solar o la e\u00f3lica, lo que la convierte en un proceso energ\u00e9ticamente eficiente y sostenible, ya que reduce las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La electr\u00f3lisis garantiza un suministro de hipoclorito de sodio cercano, flexible y eficiente.
