Non seulement il la rend propre \u00e0 la consommation humaine, mais il garantit \u00e9galement qu&rsquo;elle reste d\u00e9sinfect\u00e9e tout au long de son parcours, de la station de traitement de l&rsquo;eau au robinet ou au stockage appropri\u00e9, car <strong>l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium est tr\u00e8s efficace contre les microbes <\/strong>qui peuvent vivre dans l&rsquo;eau, comme les bact\u00e9ries, les virus, les champignons et les algues.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, nous pouvons affirmer que 100% de la population mondiale a besoin <strong>d&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium pour d\u00e9sinfecter et traiter l&rsquo;eau potable<\/strong>, mais en m\u00eame temps, un grand pourcentage de la population n&rsquo;a pas un acc\u00e8s direct \u00e0 ce mat\u00e9riau, mais doit l&rsquo;importer.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;importation pr\u00e9sente un inconv\u00e9nient majeur: L&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une <a href=\"https:\/\/adrbook.com\/en\/2017\/UN\/1791\">mati\u00e8re dangereuse<\/a> par l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/fr\/about-adr\">ADR<\/a>, ce qui d&rsquo;une part limite ou emp\u00eache sa distribution dans certains pays, et d&rsquo;autre part rend son transport plus co\u00fbteux, car des conteneurs sp\u00e9ciaux sont n\u00e9cessaires pour le transport de ce type de marchandises.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment l\u2019hypochlorite de sodium est-il fabriqu\u00e9?<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert au 18e si\u00e8cle par Claude Louis Berthollet, un chimiste fran\u00e7ais, qui l&rsquo;a fait conna\u00eetre sous le nom d&rsquo;<em>eau de Javel <\/em>ou eau de Javel, bien que ce soit le pharmacien Antoine Germain Labarraque qui ait d\u00e9couvert <strong>le pouvoir d\u00e9sinfectant de l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;agit essentiellement d&rsquo;un compos\u00e9 contenant du chlore \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tat oxyd\u00e9 (NaClO). Dissous dans l&rsquo;eau, il est connu sous le nom d&rsquo;eau de Javel, et on peut le trouver sous forme solide comme sel pentahydrat\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Au moyen d&rsquo;un <strong>proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrolyse<\/strong> appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 une solution saline ou \u00e0 une saumure, on obtient de l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium. De mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s simplifi\u00e9e, dans une cellule d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrolyse, on introduit du sel avec de l&rsquo;eau (qui est essentiellement du chlorure de sodium), et gr\u00e2ce au courant \u00e9lectrique, on produit du chlore et de la soude, qui r\u00e9agissent imm\u00e9diatement pour former de l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium.<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;utilisation de l\u2019hypochlorite de sodium pour traiter et purifier l\u2019eau<\/h2>\n<p>Comme mentionn\u00e9 ci-dessus, l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium est aujourd&rsquo;hui indispensable pour que les gens aient acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une eau potable s\u00fbre. <strong>L&rsquo;ingestion d&rsquo;eau contamin\u00e9e peut avoir des effets tr\u00e8s n\u00e9fastes<\/strong>, voire mortels, sur la sant\u00e9, car les bact\u00e9ries, virus, insectes ou larves contenus dans l&rsquo;eau contamin\u00e9e peuvent provoquer, entre autres, le chol\u00e9ra, la diarrh\u00e9e, la fi\u00e8vre typho\u00efde, le paludisme, la dengue ou le Zika. En effet, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/fr\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/the-top-10-causes-of-death\">selon l&rsquo;OMS<\/a>, les maladies diarrh\u00e9iques figurent parmi les 10 maladies qui causent le plus de d\u00e9c\u00e8s dans le monde, notamment dans les pays \u00e0 faible revenu par habitant.<\/p>\n<p>Pour rendre l&rsquo;eau potable et \u00e9viter ces risques, on ajoute de l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium dans une proportion maximale de 10 % du volume d&rsquo;eau. L&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour <strong>traiter les eaux us\u00e9es et les eaux industrielles<\/strong> en raison de sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 tuer les micro-organismes tels que les bact\u00e9ries, les virus et les champignons.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, l&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium est une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 mondiale pour une eau potable s\u00fbre pour la consommation humaine, mais en m\u00eame temps, c&rsquo;est un mat\u00e9riau qui ne peut pas \u00eatre facilement transport\u00e9 en raison de ses restrictions en tant que mat\u00e9riau dangereux &#8211; puisque, seul, il est toxique et tr\u00e8s irritant, et tr\u00e8s dangereux en contact avec d&rsquo;autres agents tels que l&rsquo;ammoniac ou tout autre acide. Cela permet de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande locale, d&rsquo;\u00e9viter les risques et les restrictions li\u00e9s au transport et de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la purification et au traitement de l&rsquo;eau ainsi qu&rsquo;aux processus en aval auxquels cette eau est appliqu\u00e9e, dans le cas de l&rsquo;industrie.<\/p>\n<p>En fait, la demande mondiale d&rsquo;hypochlorite de sodium devant <strong>augmenter de 5% par an<\/strong> au cours de la p\u00e9riode 2021-2030, de plus en plus d&rsquo;entreprises optent pour l&rsquo;installation d&rsquo;une usine d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrolyse comme investissement pour l&rsquo;avenir ou pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 leur propre demande locale.
